«We designed and installed a multimedia exhibition for a new cultural venue that introduces visitors to the city that withstood a siege during the Great Patriotic War

At the end of 2021, we were fortunate to take part in a project of federal importance and scale — the creation of an immersive exhibition space at the Tula Defence Museum.

We were commissioned by Grata Adv, who designed and built the museum. Our tasks included designing and installing a multimedia exhibition.

We accomplished a lot of work in a short time frame – adjusted the equipment specifications, prepared a list of necessary supplies, and developed a set of operational schemes.

The project saw the creation of 64 multimedia installations that recreate military events, everyday life, and the atmosphere of the besieged city of Tula. The designing and construction stages took less than two months, from October to December 2021.

These included a 4-projector setup with image blending, numerous touchscreens, and spot projections on a wide range of surfaces. Over this time, we installed more than 150 meters of cable trays and laid more than 7 kilometers of cable on the exhibition area of about 3,000 square meters.

The project involved the construction of a 10 Gbps LAN, and a distributed audio broadcasting system based on the Dante protocol. We installed a personal computer with specialized software for playback. The signal from the PC is sent via LAN to the audio amplifiers located in different parts of the exposition.

For the convenience of powering the equipment on and off, as well as for managing it, we have provided a separate system for monitoring the equipment status from any PC via a web interface.
