«We developed sensors for interactive scanner installations at the main military and patriotic museum of Russia

We made two installations using interactive scanners for the People’s Heroism exhibition at the Victory Museum in April 2020.

These installations include an on-rails touch panel. The panel hides props and exhibits, located behind it in a niche. The panel tracks its movement and duplicates the image of the exhibits behind it on the screen. Users can select any of the exhibits and read its description via an interactive display.

We developed a single-coordinate position sensor for this project. The sensor detects the position of the panel and transmits the information about it to the PC, which changes the display content. The sensor location is adjusted using a reed switch.

We also designed and installed the support frame for the scanner and the on-rails movement system.
Each structure measures about 4 meters in length, and we’ve made sure to minimize its dimensions while keeping it durable.

Both structures were assembled and installed on-site in just two days.

Our customer, Grata Adv, developed the exhibition concept, selected the appropriate items, decorated the installations, developed the multimedia content, and supplied the multimedia equipment.»
